Had the best time! The resort is beautiful and really well kept. Our room (1 bdrm suite) was perfect--very clean, well decorated and roomy. It is a great hotel for families because of the big rooms and the kitchenettes. It will be hard to stay in a regular hotel room again after this visit. The views from all over the resort are just gorgeous--it looked so much like Maui to me. The beach was very private and the pool was over the top--slides, waterfalls, sandy beach, lots of shallow areas for kids. My girls (8 mos and 3 yrs), were so happy just sitting and playing in the pool area. Over all it was a perfect weekend and will definitely be back and will tell friends and family about it.

Our large, open one bedroom suites offer both luxury and space, making them perfect for a short getaway or long vacation. Our one bedroom suites feature a bedroom with king bed that is open to the living area. The living area can be used for leisure or as an additional sleeping area that is fully equipped with all of the comforts of home. Relax in the large garden tub in the spacious bathroom, or step out on the balcony with a book to enjoy the ocean breeze.

Of course, we didn't let the luxury get in the way of utility - the complete hideaway kitchenette gives you a place to prepare your own meals, should you choose, and the large desk and complimentary high-speed internet access make this an ideal workspace.

The Hammock Beach Resort is a great resort for the family. We had a 1 bedroom suite which was nicely appointed with a comfortable king bed and pull out, a little kitchen area was small fridge and microwave. Beautiful cabinetry and nice size bath. My girlfriend had the 3 bedroom which again was spacious and had a full kitchen (big fridge and oven). The pools are tiered and we went on Spring Break so the pools were very full. But the service was excellent. The kids really liked the slide. There is a bar area with lots of blended drinks! Great spa and fitness center. The kids (age 6, 7, 10, 11, and (2) 13 year olds) enjoyed the indoor pool . That's also where the hot tub is. Beach was very nice was chairs, towels and umbrellas. Don't bring towels, towels provided everywhere. You can bring a cooler down to the beach not at the pool. We ate at the Atlantic Grill last night on the resort and it was definitely fine dining, $28 entrees, the food was very good.

There is a big lawn in between the pool and the beach with white Adirondack chairs which was very relaxing to hang out during the day or at the end of the day with a frozen pina colada. Big area for the kids to throw a football and then there is a area at the far end of the pool with a full volleyball area (sand).

This is a really nice resort and I can be a little particular and could not find anything of significance that was wrong. We just had a wonderful week at the Hammock Beach and will definitely return.

We stayed at the Hammock Beach Resort for the first time in July for just a two night anniversary get away. We loved it so much that we came back a month later and brought our 3 children and parents with a large suite.

For our first stay, in July, we booked a 1 bedroom suite for 2 nights. It was just my wife and I. We wanted somewhere pretty close to home (we live in St. Augustine) and away from the crazy Orlando atmosphere. Hammock Beach was the perfect fit. The main facility (where we stayed) is HUGE. We enjoyed the pools, had a great experience at the spa and enjoyed working at their top quality fitness facility. We noticed lots of children around and thought we would come back with the whole family.

We returned a month later in August with my wife's parents and our 3 children (all under 4 years old). This time we booked the 3 bedroom suite (great value with AAA rate) and it was incredible. Large living area, large rooms with 3 bathrooms, kitchen, etc. We spent most of the time at the pools and on the mini-golf course. Everyone from the 2 year old to the 60 year old had a wonderful time.

We will definitely be returning.

My wife and I stayed two nights in the one bedroom resort suite. The rooms are large and well designed. We had a view of the pool area and the beach. Fitness center was state-of-the-art. Pool area was fun for both kids and adults. The pool size hot tub was a nice touch. The room and resort was very clean and the landscaping was well-maintained. Last year we stayed at the Lodge and it provided a more intimate setting and the "main resort" is more family oriented. No complaints though, because the atmosphere was beautiful.
