    Jason Kern, Director of Sales & Marketing

    With more than 20 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Jason Kern brings a rich background in management, leadership and sales excellence to the Hammock Beach Resort.

                Most recently, Kern spent four years at Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores, serving as director of sales and marketing before rising to the role of general manager. As a sales-focused general manager, he was responsible for all sales and marketing channels and maintained capital improvement, owner relationships and satisfaction amongst customers and associates alike. Prior to his time at Shores Resort & Spa, Kern held various leadership positions at Hammock Beach Resort, including director of national accounts, director of group sales and director of sales and marketing, where he developed strategic marketing and revenue initiatives, maximizing revenue opportunities across all resort departments, including golf, group and leisure.

                As a native Floridian and resident of Flagler Beach, Kern has a deep appreciation for the local culture and spends much of his free time on the ocean surfing and paddle boarding, as well as playing golf with his wife and two girls, ages 9 and 12.

    Stephen Baker, Director, National Accounts

    Bringing over 22 years in the hospitality industry to the team, Stephen’s day-to-day focus is with the Southeast Region, Washington and Oregon. An active member of GSAE, GaMPI, and SITE, Mr. Baker’s southern charm has earned him honors including Employee of the Year and the Sales Manager of the Year Award at various properties throughout his career. A proud alumnus of Clemson University, Stephen also has his Florida real estate license.

    Jackie Baker, Regional Sales Manager

    With over 20 years of proven success in the in the Hotel Industry, Jackie joined the Hammock Beach Resort sales team in 2013. Her enthusiasm and results-driven accomplishments in securing new business and maintaining client loyalty has earned her several awards for outstanding sales achievement. Jackie’s extensive knowledge in both the Corporate and Association Markets provide her with a finely tuned understanding of a group’s requirements for a successful & memorable program.

    Summer Rouse, Regional Sales Manager

    Summer joined the Hammock Beach team in October 2014 from the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, GA where she had been a sales manager for the past six years. Summer brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team at Hammock Beach. A native Floridian and graduate of Florida State University, when she is not working, Summer enjoys the beach and spending time with her son.

    Rich Stanfield, Golf Sales Manager

    Rich has over 35 years of experience in the Hospitality and Golf industry most recently coming from KemperSports a golf course management company, where he served as a Regional Director/ General Manager. He also served as the Director of Operations at Dorado Beach Resort and Club. Prior to joining KemperSports, Rich served as the Corporate Director of Food and Beverage Operations for two national golf management companies, prior to that he spent seventeen years in the corporate restaurant business.

    Rich attended the University of Illinois and Illinois Central College and was actively involved in the National Restaurant Association of America, and Flagler County Tourism Development counsel. He currently serves at the Chairman of the Board for the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce and sits on the board of directors for Florida’s First Coast of golf.

    Britni Malloy, Director of Catering & Conference Services

    With over 10 years in the hospitality industry, Britni Malloy brings knowledge and experience to her position as Director of Catering and Conference Services at Hammock Beach Resort. After graduating from The University of Central Florida with a degree in Finance, she joined an up and coming spa consulting company as both a financial consultant and special events manager.  She soon discovered her passion for event planning and decided to start her own business as a Wedding and Event Designer in East Central Florida. Britni’s ongoing enthusiasm for sales and her exquisite attention to detail led her to Hammock Beach Resort in early 2013 where she is now leading the Catering and Conference Services team.  Her dedication to the team, excitement for new ideas and thorough execution of events ensures an unforgettable guest experience for our clients.

    With over 16 years in the hospitality industry with a focus on Event Planning Management since 2009, Colleen was a member of Hammock Beach’s opening team in 2004. Colleen knows and understands the needs and expectations of having a Florida Event; whether it is a Corporate Program, a Dream Wedding, a Family Reunion or everything in between. Her passion to orchestrate exquisite lifetime moments shines through in each event.

    Lyndsey Bowden, Catering Sales Manager

    With over 8 years in the hospitality industry, Lyndsey Bowden exudes genuine dedication for her clients. Obtaining her degree from the University of Central Florida in Event Management with a minor in Hospitality Management, Lyndsey knew early on that her passion and motivation was creating memorable lifetime experiences. Lyndsey began her career in a luxury boutique hotel, gaining years of experience and knowledge in operations and catering. Lyndsey joined the Hammock Beach team in early 2015 and brings equal amounts warmth and devotion to both her corporate and social clients.

    Michelle Liedtke, Catering Sales Manager

    Michelle joined the Hammock Beach Resort Catering team in April 2016 bringing with her 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Michelle spent the first 10 years of her career as the Event Manager for the world-renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa where she honed her skills in upscale event execution ranging from birthday parties, to corporate buyouts, and all events in between. Her attention to detail and devotion to her clients ensure that every event becomes a memory that will be cherished for a lifetime.
