Allow me to be the first to welcome you to the golf experience at Hammock Beach Resort, where exceptional course design meets superior service standards.
Truly a “once in a lifetime” experience, our award winning resort provides the perfect location for the ultimate golf trip. Our two immaculate golf courses have been host to PGA Tour events, and tout some of the highest rankings in the state by Golf Magazine, Golf Week and Golf Digest. Designed by legends of the game, each course offers a distinctive style of play surrounded by spectacular views of the natural landscape.
The Ocean Course, a Signature Design by Jack Nicklaus, boasts six holes on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean - more holes on the ocean than any course in Florida. From our breathtaking ocean view driving range to the famous finishing holes dubbed the “Bear Claw”, you will be blown away with this great golf experience. The Ocean course also attracted the best field in 3 years when we hosted our Champions Tour event in 2007, a true testimony of our golf experience.
The Conservatory Course, a Signature Design by Tom Watson, is a links style masterpiece comprised of 140 acres of dramatic rolling hills and huge undulating greens not commonly found in Florida. The Conservatory currently holds the honor of being the longest and hardest ranked course in Florida and truly challenges your game on every shot. Don’t be fooled by the peaceful beauty of the landscape - mastering the Conservatory will require your best effort. Designed to fit all levels of handicap and style of play, the Conservatory Course offers each golfer a choice of 12 sets of tees, allowing you to play the yardage you’re most accustomed to playing.
Even though both courses have signature holes designed with the serious golfer in mind our legendary designers were very mindful of the novice golfer as well, providing the opportunity to enjoy your experience regardless of skill level. And the championship playing conditions of our courses combined with the high level of attention by our PGA golf staff are the perfect compliment, providing both personalized private instruction and group golf clinics, as well as club fitting and golf strategy.
Whether spreading out in one of our deluxe villas and ocean view suites, relaxing in our ocean front dining room or enjoying a stogie while watching your favorite sporting event in our cigar bar, you will quickly realize why Hammock Beach has become the most sought after golf destination in the state of Florida.
See you on the Links!
