Each instructor brings a unique background and passion for teaching, ensuring a personalized and enriching experience for every golfer.

Head Golf Professional

Eric Sargent

Eric is a nine year PGA Member who started at Hammock Beach in July of 2019. His enthusiasm for teaching and love for the game go unmatched. Eric continues to work on his own game and strives to share his passion with others. Some of his most recent accomplishments include: 2nd Place finish in the 2014 PGA Chapter Championship, 2014 Top 10 Player of the Year NFPGA Section, and qualified for the 2017 Professional National Championship.

Jason Pomroy

Jason Pomroy is a Class A PGA Member with over 25 years of experience in golf instruction, operations, and leadership. A former Southern Nevada Golf Association Golf Professional of the Year, he has coached players of all skill levels to achieve their goals. Jason has also served on the Southern Nevada PGA Chapter Board, contributing to the growth and integrity of the game at the regional level.

Assistant Golf Professional

Casey Twigg

Casey brings to Hammock Beach more than 15 years of experience creating welcoming, high-quality experiences for members and guests. Originally from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Casey moved to Daytona Beach at age 14, where his passion for the game began through junior, amateur, and professional competition.

Most recently, Casey served as Lead Golf Professional at Sugar Mill Country Club in New Smyrna Beach after starting there as an Assistant Golf Professional in 2019. He focused on daily operations, tournaments, player development, and guest satisfaction. Casey also serves as Volunteer President of the Volusia Flagler Junior Golf Association and is currently pursuing PGA Class A membership.

Dominic Barron Holden
